Germany announced that it would be hosting the first edition of Global Wind Summit in Hamburg from September 25-28,2018.
It will be organized with the aim to focus on innovations for harnessing wind energy with green technology.
100 countries will be participating including India, China , The US, Spain, Denmark in the 4 day event
The conference will be the largest event on Wind industry worldwide and will consist of 2 parts: WindEnergy Hamburg and WindEurope.
1400 exhibitors and 250 speakers from all around the world will participate
The government of India has a target of installing 60GW of wind energy by 2022 and India with 33GW is the fourth largest country after China, US and Germany who has already installed wind energy.
