Poland left 2050 climate neutrality deal

Poland  left 2050 climate neutrality deal

European Union leaders on Friday reached an agreement to make the bloc carbon neutral by 2050, but left Poland out of the commitment for now

Eastern European states are demanding funds to support a transition away from fossil fuels and a role for nuclear power.

The decision came just a day after the bloc unveiled a 100-billion-euro (110 billion U.S. dollars) plan for net-zero greenhouse gas emissions
