West Indies to host 2018 Women’s World T20

The 2018 edition of the Women’s World T20 will be hosted by Antigua and Barbuda, Guyana and St Lucia from November 9-24,

West Indies will defend the title they won against Australia in Kolkata in 2016.

The preliminary round matches will be held at the Guyana National Stadium and Darren Sammy Stadium in St Lucia, while Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua and Barbuda will stage the two semi-finals and the final.

 Australia,  England, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, South Africa and Sri Lanka will participate

remaining two spots will be taken  by either of  Bangladesh, Holland, Ireland, Papua New Guinea, Scotland, Thailand, Uganda or United Arab Emirates,after qualfiers from 3-14 July.

it will be the first stand-alone ICC Women’s World Twenty20

the past five events were played alongside the men’s event.

The ICC Women's Cricket World Cup is the oldest and most prestigious international women's cricket tournament. The Women's World Cup is currently organised by the International Cricket Council.
